Flexible class offerings T-Th
One of the reasons many decide to homeschool is the flexibility it affords. Travel when you want, take classes when you want, take breaks when you want. Keeping this in mind, I've designed my classes to give parents multiple options when it comes to their child's homeschool classes. Once enrolled ($50/child), children may sign up for whichever classes they'd like. Each day (T, W or Th) can be signed up for individually, and kids can do mornings (9:30-12:30), afternoons (12:30-2:30) or both.

All T-Th classes currently work out to $12/hr per child when signing up for full day. Morning classes require a 9 week semester signup (can be split into 2 or 3 payments as needed), afternoon classes can be signed up for day to day ($25/day). Drop in classes are available for non-enrolled students for $15/hr when space allows.

Tuesday Classes
Morning Classes - 9:30-12:30
Spanish, States, Native Americans and Life Skills
On Tuesdays this year, children will be learning all about the 50 states as well as the Native American communities that once lived all across the country in their States and Natives class with Mrs. Renae. They will continue working on their Spanish language skills in their Spanish class with Mrs. Gina using the "Spanish for Children" curriculum as the spine. Their 3rd morning rotation will be their Life Skills class with Ms. Elise - focused on a variety of life skills ranging from growth mindset and organization to budgeting and home economics. Kids are sure to learn a ton while having fun on Tuesdays this year!

All work will be kept in individual YELLOW folders and kept at the center to be added to each week. Parents are welcome to take work anytime they wish.

Cost for Tuesday MORNING CLASSES ONLY is $40/day paid by the semester ($360 for 9 week semesters)
Afternoon Classes - 12:30-2:30
Lunch, study hall/learning games and open art activities
Children will eat lunch with peers 12:30-1, then will work on independent math, reading and writing work brought from home or provided at the school from 1-2pm. The last 30min of the day will be for open art and craft exploration using our huge variety of fun materials available, playing games or having fun in the building and sensory rooms. Students staying from morning session will be able to stay past 12:30 on a day to day basis for $25/day.

Wednesday Classes
Morning Classes - 9:30-12:30
Language Arts, US History and Science
On Wednesdays this year, children be working on vocabulary development, grammar, and writing skills (using the Write by Number curriculum as a spine) during their LA rotation with Mrs. Sarah. They will focus on US History using the History Quest curriculum as a spine during their history rotation with Mrs. Holly. Ms. Elise's science rotation will focus on human body systems (Anatomy) for the 3rd and 4th 9 weeks. All classes will be leveled according to the groups' ages and abilities (3 groups, 6-8/2nd grade, 9-11/4th grade, 10-13/6th grade).

All work will be kept in individual BLUE folders and kept at the center to be added to each week. Parents are welcome to take work anytime they wish.

Cost for Wednesday MORNING CLASSES ONLY is $40/day paid by the semester ($360 for 9 week semesters)
Afternoon Classes - 12:30-2:30
Lunch, study hall/learning games and open art activities
Children will eat lunch with peers 12:30-1, then will work on independent math, reading and writing work brought from home or provided at the school from 1-2pm. The last 30min of the day will be for open art and craft exploration using our huge variety of fun materials available, playing games or having fun in the building and sensory rooms. Students staying from morning session will be able to stay past 12:30 on a day to day basis in 30min increments for $6/30min (punchcard/deposit required).

Cost for Wednesday AFTERNOON CLASSES ONLY is $25/day and can be paid day to day given space.

Thursday Classes

Morning Classes - 9:30-12:30
Art, Literature and Music Theory
On Thursdays this year, students will learn about famous artists and create art inspired by them in Mrs. Mariette's art rotation. They will read and analyze classic and contemporary literature (picture books and shorter chapter books for the younger group, novel studies for the older groups) in Mrs. Holly's literature class. They will learn about the elements of music during their Music class with Mrs. Gina using the "From Sound to Song" curriculum and will begin to learn to read and even write music using a variety of physical and digital resources. This is sure to be a favorite day for all of our creative kids!

All work will be kept in individual GREEN folders and kept at the center to be added to each week. Parents are welcome to take work anytime they wish.

Cost for Thursday MORNING CLASSES ONLY is $40/day paid by the semester ($360 for 9 week semesters)

NEW: Morning nature and story class for 4-7yrs from 9:30-11:30 (5+ can be drop off, 4 requires parent to stay)
Kids will have 15min to play in the building and sensory rooms as they arrive, then will have a nature study and art class from 9:45-10:30. From 10:30-10:45 they will have a snack and bathroom break, then from 10:45-11:30 they will have a story and craft class before another break. From 11:45-12:30, kids will focus on early learning math and language art skills, including worksheets, activities and games. Classes will focus on on a nature topic (polar bears, owls, etc) each week. Cost is $360/semester for the 9 weeks, and drop in by the day is available when space allows for $15/hr.
